Yoga

Kripalu Yoga, and Chair Yoga are taught privately by Tina Mason in Berkeley. She likes to work with people who are overstressed, overweight, self-conscious, or have other maladies such as: arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis and mild Autism. Tina has been a Certified Yoga Instructor for 7 years, and Certified Chair Yoga Instructor for 4 years.  She taught Chair Yoga at Kaiser Medical Clinic, Hale Makua in Maui, Hawaii. She has competed both nationally and internationally in body-building competitions, and  is a Certified Personal Trainer as well, specializing in: weight loss, strength training, toning, competition, core training. Having taught CHAIR YOGA at Kaiser clinic in Maui, Hawaii, many of her clients were doctor referred. Her clients have shown remarkable improvements in their flexibility, general health and well-being. It would be our pleasure to put extensive experience helping you to achieve vibrant health.



CHAIR YOGA is intended for use by those who sit at desks and want an afternoon pick-me-up; for those who sit on long airplane trips, drive long distances, and who must use wheelchairs.

CHAIR YOGA is beneficial for those who:

• have space and/or time limitations for doing traditional yoga
• feel that traditional yoga classes are too strenuous
• feel their vitality slipping away
• have health challenges
• may be recovering from an illness
• know they need some exercise program, but nothing seems to fit
• just don't want to get down on the floor, yet desire the same results & benefits of traditional yoga
