 Coach Melvin, who was introduced to Master Liang, Qiang-Ya by Johnny "Kwong Ming" Lee, is a 4th generation practitioner of WuDang-Style internal martial arts, and a current disciple of Master Liang. Starting as a young teen, Master Liang, the nephew of Chinese general, Sun Paul Kung, was a disciple of Fu Chen Sung. As written in history, Grandmaster Fu was one of the original Five Northern Tigers. He created Fu-style internal martial arts—an effective combat art, combining Baguazhang, Taijiquan, and Hsing-Yi Quan. Liang Qiang-Ya is now one of the last living, 3rd generation disciples of Grandmaster Fu:

Overall, the following practices are offered:
Chi Kung (aka Chi Gung; Qigong).
Wu-style Tai Chi (Short form).
Heaven's Palm Tai Chi form.
Yoga
Northern Kungfu (jumping,
leaping, rolling, high-flying kicks).
Southern Kungfu (strong, solid, low stances, low kicks, strong punches).
Self-defense against dog attacks.
In the Kungfu classes, the following kicks are taught:
1. Front Snap Kick – Hands on hips,
Cat stance, step and toe-kick; repeat 2. High Swing – Arms out to side, Cat
stance, take 3 step/blocks, swing foot high. 3. Windmill Kick – Natural stance,
inside kick, each leg (reverse for outside kick) 4. Side Kick I – Leaning horse
position, crossover-step, kick; repeat

position, hop-step, kick; repeat 6. Roundhouse kick – crossover-step,
kick; repeat 7. Spin Kick I – Leaning horse
